Version 3, in force from 2026-10-18.
Draftland is a writing and feedback service provided by Paweł Józefiak, trading as JOCK Paweł Józefiak, registered in CEIDG (Poland), NIP 6342772453, REGON 384319149. Address, also for complaints: ul. Kaliny 95/19, 41-506 Chorzów, Poland. Telephone: +48 32 600 79 26. Questions or problems: hello@usedraftland.com.
You buy Draftland from Paweł Józefiak. Payments go through Stripe Managed Payments, shown as Sold through Link. Its affiliate Sold through Link, LLC is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, sends receipts and tax invoices, and handles the purchase taxes, such as VAT, in the countries Managed Payments covers. Paying through it pays Paweł for your order. Paweł supplies Draftland and remains responsible for the service and your rights relating to it. Your checkout and purchase documents show the merchant details.
These Terms cover Draftland's service. Stripe's separate Consumer Terms, including Sold Through Link and Purchase Terms, apply to the payment and Link's services. Which Stripe company you contract with for those depends on where you live. Link's Privacy policy explains their data handling. We do not use Stripe's purchase terms to limit your rights against Draftland.
These Terms are available in English and Polish. If you are a consumer living in Poland, we show you the Polish version before you use Draftland or order premium. For a Polish citizen in a consumer transaction covered by Polish language law, the Polish version is the basis for interpretation. This doesn't reduce your mandatory consumer protections.
Using Draftland
These Terms are Draftland's regulamin. They cover browser writing, free accounts, shared rooms, reader feedback, built-in AI and premium storage and sync, and they apply to authors, readers and guests. Read and save them before you use a feature. Your free service starts when you first write in Draftland or join a shared room after these Terms were made available to you. Creating an account starts the free account service; it doesn't order premium. Complimentary premium for invited testers starts when you activate it. Paid premium starts when checkout confirms your order. If you order for an organisation, you must be authorised to bind it.
Draftland is for people aged 13 and over, including readers and guests. You must be 18 or older to buy premium. Please don't invite children under 13 to give feedback or upload material. If you think a child under 13 has given us personal information, email hello@usedraftland.com.
You can stop using the free service or leave a shared room at any time, at no charge. You can sign out without deleting your work. Cancelling premium renewal, withdrawing from a premium contract and deleting your account have different effects, explained below. Deleting your account ends the account service. Your browser copies, and copies other people made, are not erased.
Your work and your decisions
You keep ownership of your content. You allow us to store, process and share it as needed to provide the features you use, as explained in the Privacy page.
Only upload, share or send to AI material you are entitled to use. If it contains other people's personal information, you need a lawful basis for that use and must give them any information the law requires. Don't send special-category data (such as health details) or other sensitive information about people, such as financial or ID details, to built-in AI unless our AI provider information says the route allows it. Choose your readers carefully and keep the owner link private.
Accounts are optional. Your account is tied to your email inbox: anyone with access to that inbox can sign in, and if you lose it we may not be able to restore your account. Keep it secure. A receipt or name alone isn't enough for us to hand over private writing, but we can still help you cancel billing.
Readers and agents propose changes. You decide what to apply. AI can change facts or meaning. Review a prepared version before using it.
Make page mockups only from your own draft, or from a screenshot of a page you own or are authorised to work on. Only include text, pictures and logos you may use, including for AI processing and sharing: owning a page doesn't always mean you hold the rights to everything on it, such as stock photos or client logos. If a screenshot shows other people's personal information, you need a lawful basis to use it, so leave out anything the mockup doesn't need. Don't use a mockup to suggest ownership or endorsement you don't have. Draftland makes a separate mockup; it doesn't change or host your live site.
An early service
Usage and storage limits apply. We show the premium limits before you subscribe. Premium includes one workspace, up to 100 drafts including deleted drafts, and 100 MiB of retained content including history. Pictures count toward it, up to 40 pictures and 6 MiB in total. Automatic recovery checkpoints are kept for up to thirty days. Named Versions and saved decisions are not silently pruned to make room.
Built-in AI comes with a monthly allowance: a small one on the free service, and with premium one well above typical use. The app warns you when you've used 80% of it. If you reach it, built-in AI pauses until the 1st of the next month; writing, sharing and reviews keep working.
To keep the service available, built-in AI also has daily limits: one for each shared draft, and one across the whole service that covers all accounts, premium included, and imports. When a daily limit is reached, the affected AI work pauses until the daily reset at midnight UTC, which the app shows. Built-in AI for free and signed-out use can also pause for a while when the service's AI capacity runs low, with no set reset time. In every case you can keep writing and sharing. Your own welcome and monthly AI allowances also apply, as the Pricing page describes.
Browser-only work stays in that browser. Premium keeps the drafts in your account, including Notes, versions and pictures, on our server so you can open them on another device. With premium your shared drafts are also linked to your account, so any device signed in to it can act as their owner; you can unlink them in your account. Keep your account secure: anyone using a device signed in to it can then manage those drafts, just like someone holding the owner link. Signing in alone doesn't upload drafts already in your browser; you choose which to add. We can't promise nothing is ever lost, so export a JSON backup regularly. Include sharing keys if you need owner access to your shared drafts on another browser, and keep that file private.
You need a supported modern browser, JavaScript, browser storage and an internet connection for sharing, AI, account sync and billing. Supported browsers: current versions of Chrome, Edge and Safari, on computers and on iPhone. Browser storage keeps your drafts and access keys in that browser, so clearing it can lose work that isn't in your account. Sign-in needs access to your verified email, and a necessary cookie keeps you signed in.
Don't provide, upload, store or share unlawful content, access someone else's work without permission, share another person's credentials, or disrupt the service. We look at reports and the relevant facts, and we may restrict the affected content, account or access, proportionately, to deal with unlawful content or a breach of these Terms. If we restrict your content, your access or your account and we have your email, we tell you at the latest when the restriction starts: what we did and for how long, the facts, the legal or Terms ground, whether automated tools were used, and how to challenge it. A binding order from an authority can have different notice rules. You can ask a person to review any decision at hello@usedraftland.com. We preserve a safe export route where possible. Restrictions do not remove your complaint or refund rights.
Contact us before sending confidential client material if you need contractual privacy assurances. Premium doesn't include an individually agreed client data-processing contract by default.
These terms do not remove rights you have under applicable law.
Contacts and reports
Authorities and users can reach Draftland at hello@usedraftland.com, in Polish or English. A person reads every message; automated sorting only routes them.
To report illegal content, use Report in any shared room, or email us. Give the exact link or location, why you think it is unlawful, your name and email, and a statement that you believe your report is accurate and complete. You don't need an account. Reports about child sexual abuse offences don't need your name or email. Don't send an owner key. We confirm receipt, decide without undue delay and tell you our decision, whether automated tools were used, and how to challenge it.
How we moderate: we don't scan private drafts or shared rooms. We act on reports and on what we see when helping you. A person makes every decision to remove content or restrict an account.
The premium seat
Premium is one author seat for one person. It includes private account storage and sync for the drafts you keep in your account. It is not a team plan and does not promise unlimited AI. Readers and guests are always free and do not need accounts.
The free browser service remains separate. A paid subscription needs a verified account and a completed checkout. Before you pay, we show the plan, limits, price including tax, billing interval, that it renews automatically until you cancel, and how to cancel. When your order is accepted, and before premium starts, we email your contract confirmation, with a link to the dated version of these Terms and the withdrawal form in the email itself, so you can keep it. Creating an account alone doesn't order a subscription.
Complimentary premium for beta accounts
Accounts created before 23 October 2026, 09:01 Warsaw time, get premium free until the end of 13 February 2027, Warsaw time. Accounts we create for our own testing are not included. The app shows the end date too. There's no card, no charge and nothing renews automatically: it never turns into a paid subscription by itself. It's a free service under these Terms, separate from a paid subscription.
Before it ends, we email you the end date and how to subscribe. You can subscribe through the normal checkout at the current price, which checkout shows. If you don't subscribe, premium stops as described in End of premium and export below.
Price and billing
You pay the price shown at checkout for the monthly or annual plan you choose. Before you confirm, checkout shows the total and the currency you'll pay in. Prices are in EUR, tax included. If checkout shows your local currency, you can choose to pay in euros instead; paying in your own currency includes a 2 to 4% conversion fee, and the amount in your currency can change at renewal. That isn't a price change: the EUR price stays the same unless you accept a new one. Sold through Link collects the payment and provides the purchase documents. Your bank may charge its own fees.
The plan renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. The price and billing interval you accept at checkout stay the agreed basis for your subscription. We never change the price of a period you've already paid for.
For an annual plan, we email your account address 30 days before each annual renewal, with the plan, the date, the total price and billing interval, the deadline to cancel, how to cancel and how to reach us. Link also sends its own transaction notices. If we can't deliver that reminder in time, we postpone the charge or cancel it and tell you what happens next.
If we propose a higher price for future renewals, we email you at least thirty days before the first renewal it would affect, with the new total including tax, the billing interval, the renewal date and how to accept or cancel. We charge the new price only after you explicitly accept it. Silence, continued use or receiving the email don't count as acceptance. If you don't accept, your subscription continues at your agreed price and interval. A price proposal never ends your subscription by itself. If you accept, we also send a final notice 14 days before the new price first applies, with the new amount, the date and how to cancel. We may lower your price without asking.
Changing plan: to move from monthly to annual, cancel your monthly plan. When your paid month ends, subscribe to annual at checkout. The annual purchase is a new order with its own 14-day withdrawal right.
Cancellation
Cancel on our Cancel or withdraw page (usedraftland.com/withdraw), with Manage subscription in your account, or with Link's own subscription tools, which may ask you to create or sign in to a Link account. You never need a Link account to cancel or withdraw through Draftland. You do not need to give a reason or call us. If a route fails or you cannot sign in, email us before the renewal and we will help stop it.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Paid access continues to the end of the period already paid for. We email confirmation with that end date. A pending request is shown as pending until confirmed. A timely cancellation will be honoured even if confirmation is delayed.
Cancelling renewal does not itself ask for a refund or delete your account. For withdrawal or another refund right, use the routes below. Removing a card or deleting a browser copy is not cancellation.
If we have to stop Draftland: we may end subscriptions only if a binding legal requirement stops us from continuing, or if we permanently close Draftland for everyone. We give at least sixty days' email notice where we can keep operating lawfully. We normally honour the period you've already paid for. If we must stop earlier, we refund the prepaid time we can't provide and keep a free way to retrieve your work. We never end your subscription because you declined a price increase.
Withdrawal and refunds
If you're a consumer, you can withdraw from your premium contract without giving a reason until the end of the 14th day after the day your paid checkout order is accepted, which is when your contract is made. Your contract confirmation email shows the last day. Complimentary premium isn't part of this contract, so for beta accounts the 14 days start at your paid checkout. Using premium, writing or syncing doesn't waive this right. An unchanged automatic renewal doesn't start a new 14 days. The law may give you longer, for example if required information was missing.
If you withdraw, we stop your subscription and refund everything you paid under this contract, tax included, with no deduction for the time you used premium.
Use Withdraw from contract, in the app menu when you are signed in, in your account and in your contract confirmation email, or go to usedraftland.com/withdraw. It works without signing in and stays available. Give your name, the email you used to buy and the email for your receipt, then choose Confirm withdrawal. We show a receipt at once and email it to you with your statement and the date and time it was submitted and received. That time counts, not the time we process it.
You can instead email hello@usedraftland.com, write to ul. Kaliny 95/19, 41-506 Chorzów, Poland, or send another clear statement. A form is optional; a sample is below. You do not have to use our app or contact Stripe first. For the purchase, you can also contact Link support. State "cooling off period" for a withdrawal request to Link. If you send your withdrawal to Link instead, we treat it as received by us when Link received it.
We arrange refunds through Managed Payments. You don't need a Link account or a second request. We refund without undue delay and within 14 days after we receive your withdrawal, to your original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. A bank can take extra processing time to display it. We confirm the outcome in writing.
After withdrawal, premium ends as described in End of premium and export: your account work stays readable and exportable, free, unless you ask us to erase it. Your refund doesn't depend on keeping your account or exporting anything, and exporting doesn't undo your withdrawal or restart billing. We don't send marketing after a withdrawal.
Outside the 14 days, you can still complain about a service fault, an unauthorised charge or another issue. Link has its own refund policy. Its ordinary refund process is separate from statutory consumer rights. We do not impose a blanket no-refunds rule or a 60-day limit on statutory claims.
Optional withdrawal form
To: Paweł Józefiak, ul. Kaliny 95/19, 41-506 Chorzów, Poland, hello@usedraftland.com.
I give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Draftland premium service. Ordered on: …. Order or subscription reference (optional): …. Name: …. Address: …. Email for confirmation: …. Date: …. Signature (only for a paper form): ….
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we tell you and keep premium access for seven days so you can update the payment method or complete the bank's check. Stripe and Link may retry the agreed payment. The grace period does not restart with each attempt. If payment is still not resolved at its end, premium ends as described in End of premium and export. We confirm the actual end date. If a later retry succeeds, premium comes back on. A failed payment never erases your writing.
End of premium and export
When your premium actually ends, including after payment grace, at the end of complimentary premium or after a withdrawal, saving new edits to your account and premium's AI allowance stop. Everything already in your account stays readable and exportable, free, wherever you sign in. New edits keep saving on your device with the free browser features. If you subscribe again, saving to your account resumes.
You can export your account work at any time with Export in the app: your drafts, private Notes, versions and pictures, in portable JSON with media. It never includes another person's private content. Include sharing keys only if you want them in your private backup. If you need help getting your work out, email us and we'll help.
Your account content stays until you delete it, delete your account or ask us to delete it; the end of premium doesn't start a deletion clock. If we ever set a time limit for keeping the content of accounts without premium, we'll email you at least 60 days before it applies, so you can export first. Backups can retain copies for up to 15 days after deletion. Existing shared rooms have their separate deletion controls described in Privacy. Your browser copies and copies other people made remain.
If an export fails, or you've asked us for your content and we haven't delivered it yet, contact us. We hold any deletion of the content needed until it's done and charge nothing. We can't restore content that has been deleted.
Account deletion
To delete your account, choose Delete my account in Account, or email hello@usedraftland.com from your account's address. We cancel the subscription, revoke sessions and remove private content from live storage within a month, usually sooner, and tell you when it's done. Export first if you want a copy: once deletion is done we can't recover your writing. Deleting your account doesn't affect a refund or complaint you're entitled to, and you can still reach us at hello@usedraftland.com without an account. Tell us whether to delete account-owned shared rooms too. Our billing record, and evidence for any dispute that is actually open, can remain as set out in Privacy.
Account deletion is separate from withdrawal or a refund request. It does not delete your Link account or necessarily erase Stripe's records. If you ask Link to delete your billing information, that cancels your subscription. We treat it as a cancellation: your account work stays readable and exportable, and it isn't a request to delete your writing.
Service quality and responsibility
We provide the features and limits agreed when you subscribe. Premium must keep working as agreed and as you can reasonably expect, including its availability, compatibility and security, for as long as you subscribe, and we supply the updates, including security updates, needed for that. If we don't supply premium, you can ask us to. You can end the contract if we don't supply it promptly or within extra time we agree, or straight away if we clearly won't.
If premium doesn't work as agreed, you can ask us to fix it free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you. You can instead ask for a price reduction or end the contract if a fix is impossible or would cost us excessively, we don't fix it as required, the problem continues after we try, the problem is serious enough, or it's clear we won't fix it in reasonable time. A minor problem doesn't let you end a paid contract this way, but the law presumes a problem is not minor. A price reduction reflects the lost value and how long the problem lasted. If you end the contract, we refund the period that didn't work as agreed and any prepaid time you no longer get. We don't charge for the time it didn't work, even if you used it. We refund within 14 days of receiving your statement, to your original payment method unless you agree to another free method. Write to hello@usedraftland.com. These rights are separate from withdrawal and aren't limited by it.
If you are a UK consumer, we must provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Depending on the fault, you can ask us to perform it again or repair it at our cost, or get a price reduction up to a full refund, and compensation for qualifying damage to your device or other digital content. We pay a price-reduction refund within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to it.
Interruptions and AI mistakes can happen. These warnings do not excuse failure to provide the agreed service or remove mandatory consumer remedies. You remain responsible for deciding what to publish, with our responsibility assessed under applicable law.
We don't cap our liability to consumers, or to individuals buying for their business who have consumer protection by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or remedies that the law doesn't allow us to limit, including compensation under data-protection law.
Companies buying for business
This section applies only when the buyer is a company or other legal person buying for its business. It never applies to individuals, including sole traders. For ordinary negligent breaches of this contract, our total liability for damages arising from events in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of EUR 120 and the subscription fees paid or payable for that period. We don't compensate lost profits, revenue or business opportunities under this section. Reasonable direct costs of recovering lost writing are covered, within that limit. The limit and exclusion don't apply to intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, mandatory product liability, anyone's data-protection compensation rights, or any liability that can't lawfully be limited. They don't reduce refunds due, export access or our duty to provide the agreed service.
Complaints and governing law
Send complaints to hello@usedraftland.com or ul. Kaliny 95/19, 41-506 Chorzów, Poland. Describe the problem, when it happened and the remedy you want. Include an order reference if relevant. Do not send a sign-in code, owner key or full card number. These details help us find the issue; they are not a required special form.
We answer complaints within 14 days of receiving them, by email or on paper. If you're a consumer and we don't answer in time, Polish law treats your complaint as accepted, unless a different legal rule applies. An automatic acknowledgment isn't our answer. If your complaint involves a payment, we work it out with Link, and we still answer you within the 14 days.
Product support comes from Draftland. Payment, receipt and purchase support also comes from Link support. We coordinate matters that involve both. You can use the competent consumer advice or dispute-resolution service. Information about available routes is on the European Commission's Consumer Redress site.
If we can't resolve your complaint, you can ask for free out-of-court resolution. For services like Draftland's, the competent body is generally the Śląski Wojewódzki Inspektor Inspekcji Handlowej w Katowicach: katowice.wiih.gov.pl (register entry). Its own procedure and admission rules apply. If your complaint stays unresolved, we tell you by email whether we agree to take part. Out-of-court resolution doesn't remove your right to go to court.
Where applicable law gives consumer protections to a person buying for a business, those protections apply too. Describing a purchase as business use does not itself remove them.
Polish law governs Draftland's service Terms. This does not take away mandatory protections of the law that applies to you as a consumer, including protections in your country of habitual residence. You keep any right to bring a claim in a competent court where you live. If you are a UK consumer, that includes the courts of the part of the UK where you are domiciled, and we can bring a claim against you only in those courts, except where the law allows otherwise. If you are a US consumer, this choice of law doesn't waive the federal or state consumer protections that apply to you. These Terms don't require arbitration, don't waive any class-action right that applicable law gives you, and don't require you to sue only in Poland. Link's separate purchase terms govern Link's own services and may contain arbitration and class-action terms for US users. They don't change these promises for disputes with Draftland.
Changes to the service and these Terms
We supply the updates needed to keep Draftland working as agreed, including security updates. Beyond those, we may change the continuing service only to follow a change in the law, address a security risk, adapt to changes in supported browsers or in a provider interface that an agreed feature depends on, or fix measured capacity problems affecting reliable operation. Any change must be proportionate to its reason. We explain it clearly and never charge for it. These reasons don't let us change your price or billing interval or remove your legal rights.
We email you at least thirty days before a material change to these Terms, with the changed text, the reason and the date, in a form you can keep. Changes to your price, billing interval or other material obligations apply only if you explicitly agree. Posting a new page, silence or continued use aren't agreement, and without it your current Terms continue. If you agree to a change to your subscription's price or renewal terms, we also send a final notice 14 days before it takes effect, with how to cancel. An urgent security update needed to keep the service working as agreed can happen sooner, with an explanation as soon as possible, and doesn't reduce your rights.
Before a permitted change negatively affects your access or use by more than a minor amount, we email you in good time, normally at least thirty days ahead, describing the change, its date and your options. You can then end the contract at once and free of charge within thirty days after the change or our notice, whichever is later, unless we let you keep the unchanged service at no extra cost. If you end it, we refund the prepaid time you no longer get within 14 days of your notice, to your original payment method unless you agree to another free method, and your export stays available. Changes never remove rights you already have or shorten a period you've paid for.
